Are you tired of replacing the cloth top. On your gazebo? Yeah, me too. It's annoying and expensive so I decided to come up with a more permanent fix. As y'all know once I get an idea in my head there's no stopping me. Like the time I made a DIY Pallet Fireplace in my living room where there wasn't one lol. I'm obviously not afraid of big projects and you shouldn't be either. This one just took some basic tools, easy to get materials, and determination.
I found this buffet that i turned into a TV STand I had to take the drawers out for all of our cable boxes, game consoles, and dvd players to fit. They laid in my garage forever, until it hit me. These would be perfect for books!
If you have kids... I'm fairly certain you have or have had these chairs at some point. My nieces LOVE these chairs, it's crazy they drag them around everywhere. Needless to say they'd seen better days. So I did a quick little makeover to give these beloved chairs new life.
We've been slowly working on our curb appeal we started with these DIY Planter Boxes and are moving around to the front of the garage .We removed our GIANT Hibiscus bush and this left a HUGE empty space between the windows on my garage.
I've been shopping around for some large planters to put on my front porch. I wanted them larger so I could plant some Perenial Hostas in them. I love buying new flowers every year but it gets costly. So I thought planting perennials might be better because they come back every year. I knew I'd need a bigger Planter and went searching. I found These on Amazon (aff Link) Wooden Planter Boxes WAY to expensive for my little budget. So I convinced the beard to build some for me, and they cost a fraction of the price!
It’s the beginning of a brand new year and I’m really trying to get my un-organized self under control. I mean ya’ll really don’t understand how bad it is. If it weren’t for The Beard and his uncanny ability to keep me in line I’d be in so much trouble. I’m starting off in sections to keep my brain from getting over whelmed and shutting down. It really seems to be working. This coffee area in my kitchen is a prime example. It was so cluttered, Not pretty, and needed help.
We were given a really awesome opportunity by Nautica at Home Interior Paint to makeover our living room color and style, so we decided to take advantage of that and add The DIY fireplace we've always wanted. I can not express how much I love this fireplace. It turned out better than I could ever have imagined.
