This year, I decorated the chairs. Rather than decorating all chairs, the two chairs with backs visible in the room have bows. The red and white gingham ribbon was 50%off, the cedar branches and holly are from the my garden and the faux berries were also on sale for $1.00/bunch.
This year for our annual kids Halloween party I decided to create a candy station! It was easy and fun to prepare! I made two banners using Dollarstore pumpkin sponge cutouts (seen in another post) to decorate the station.

Prior to our renovation, this bathroom was a bedroom. We had to plumb and wire this space to create an en suite. Off of the bedroom we closed in the jack and jill bathroom to become a walk in closet. Historical homes like ours did not offer luxuries like a walk in closet or ensuite, so I think it’s amazing how we managed to modernize ours. We spent many hours mapping out the new floor plan with several options. Luckily my husband is good at envisioning structural changes and floor plans. I like to stick to the pretty stuff! 😉
