Previously I posted our garden beds and now I would like to share the progess of our veggies...In a comment it was stated "where are the plants and it shouldn't be wasted" OK here it is...as I stated probably a little overgrow...
I have had these pocket rod curtains and I really didn't care for the looks of it..it really looked unfinished to me…so, I thought I would make some faux roman shades, which I did. I didn't care for either at least not in the family room. I wanted to use curtain rings with clips. After looking around for curtain rods and what I did find I really didn't want to spend that much money on new rods…so now what? Natural Twine… Yes… I love the look of twine and thinking...why not just wrap the white curtain rods with twine! It goes with the decor and it is the right color needed.
2 plant stands, one taller than the other, 2 hanging baskets with the chains...Can you guess what I did with them?
Any Idea? Space is very limited on the patio, so I knew I didn't want to take up anymore space, but did want to eliminate some of the pots of flowers. for more on this transformation you can go here http://www.onemoretimeevents.com/2012/07/plant-stands-and-hanging-basket.html to see how it all came together
This was given to me with the statement “I know you can do something with this”. I gratefully took it, not sure what I was going to do with another mirror, so it sat until I started decorating our front porch, the blank wall above the seating area was screaming for something to be hung above it. This area is just right of the front door a perfect place to display our address. With the window frame and a few bottles, I created an address wall feature
