This is my sister's 1984 mobile / manufactured home. Here is how she updated and decorated it to reflect her own unique style. For more photos and descriptions, click on my blog link ♥ http://pressingon-miranda.blogspot.com/2013/07/updating-manufactured-home.html
I used Deck Restore to reclaim my deck from the slivers. Love the outcome. This is my review with lots of photos.
Update: this decking job has not held up well. The main part of the deck looks fine still, but the steps have chipped and cracked. I'm not sure how I will go about fixing the flaws. Maybe another coat of the newer formula, but I'm not sure I want to invest any more in this brand.
This room was created to make a more functional space for our family of 7. It's an office and school space and will double as a guest room. The stripes are a dynamic addition to the walls and they make a big statement with little cost. For more information on how this room came together see my blog page here http://pressingon-miranda.blogspot.com/2012/07/office-reveal.html
I transformed a boring hallway wall into an lovely space that makes me happy. Don't underestimate the delight a hallway can bring :) To see the before and after, check out my blog page http://pressingon-miranda.blogspot.com/2013/11/quick-stenciled-wall_12.html
I finally have my master bathroom looking the way I like. Something was just "off" and now it's all good and I love the space. Come and see how it looks!
For about $19, I've updated the backsplash of my kitchen. We can't afford new countertops or tile, so this was nearly the only option available to me. It has the interest of tile with none of the cost.
I made an affordable light fixture from a basket and a simple light kit. It adds a ton of character and fun to the room and it was super easy to do. For a simple tutorial with lots of pics, check out my blog http://pressingon-miranda.blogspot.com/2012/07/diy-vintage-style-ceiling-light.html
