Coral Cutie

While browsing our local Habitat Restore (love that place!) I happened upon this little Henry Link Bali Hai desk. The condition was fair and the top needed to be reattached, but an awesome find and I knew I could revive it!

After putting the question out there on social media regarding color, someone suggested coral and I was sold! I selected the always beautiful Coral Gables by Benjamin Moore.

After fixing the top, I went through my usual refinishing process of sanding, priming, painting and sealing. I use an HVLP paint sprayer to get the smoothest possible finish, which is perfect if you are going for a high gloss look.

I also updated the hardware with paint and a clear coat of lacquer to the gold tone which I thought for better with the design.

Here is the final product! It found a home in a sweet little girls room!

This is just beautiful, the color and the finish, makes it look like you bought it from a high end shop.
