Thrifty Three-Minute #Halloween #Pumpkin Luminaries

I love the look of luminaries lining the roads at Christmastime...and on a night of the year where everyone is out checking out the neighbors' houses, I thought a similar lit-path look would be the perfect festive touch. All you'll need to make these Halloween pumpkin luminaries are a couple solo cups, battery tea lights and a few flat glass beads.
All the supplies can be found at your local dollar store!
I found my orange solo cups at a Party Store--they're a little less common than the red ones, but they are around!
Draw your jack-o-lantern style faces with a black magic marker on the outside of one of the upside down solo cups.
Cut out the shapes like you're carving a pumpkin. I found it easiest to use a hot knife to do the cutting here. If you don''t have a hot-knife, get one. You'll use it for tons of stuff and they're pretty inexpensive.
To keep the luminaries in your lawn instead of the neighbor's, hot glue a few flat glass beads to the bottom inside of the cup.
Add a battery powered tealight, and you're ready to light up the night!
