Lately I've been finding more and more paper clutter around the house. For the items that are important and need to be kept within eyesight, I decided to makeover an old bulletin board with burlap fabric.

First, I carefully removed the frame with a flathead screwdriver.

Then, I flipped the board over and placed it face down (cork side down) on top of the burlap. I used a manual stapler to attach my fabric to the board.

I framed it out with 1x4 boards and then framed that out with some 1x2 boards placed sideways.

Last, I stained it with my favorite stain. I did one quick coat of Weathered Gray, wiping it off immediately. Then I followed that up with a coat of Provinical.
