A Primitive Table Gets a New Lease on Life

I've been MIA from Hometalk recovering from feeling under the weather and then catching up on projects for clients. But I'm back! And with one of my favorite before and afters I've had the privilege to work on. A client brought an old, damaged farm table to me to refurbish. It had been built by a member of her family and was a sentimental piece for her. At first glance, it looked beyond repair. In fact, my husband thought I was crazy to even bother working on it. But with a lot of elbow grease, care and patience and of course, paint, I was able to turn the broken table into a sturdy and unique coffee table. Lots of pics and details of how I did it are on the blog! http://www.storywooddesigns.com/2013/03/01/a-new-lease-on-life-for-a-primitive-farm-table/
