I love to use old enamel tubs for planters and last summer planted a herb garden in a wheelbarrow!
Impatients planted in an old enamel wash tub. Just drill holes in the bottom for drainage!

i love all these type of things, you just can't walk into Walmart or Sears andbuy off the shelf! Things that mean you think for yourself!

I always go to Home Depot, Lowe's etc....and pick up "unfortunate" plants. The rejects that are sold for next to nothing with grow like crazy with some TLC and I use every oddball container I can find.
