I Repurposed Shelf Brackets from a Chair. They Now Hold the Shelf that Holds the TV Components for Our Living Room TV

These days, I don't frequently have the opportunity to repurpose things. And it's sad, because repurposing objects, upcycling things = fun. But I do
... I was having difficulty finding something to hold the TV components for our low hung living room TV. Inspired by an IKEA shelf bracket it hit me. A well-worn teak patio chair was detoured from the landfill and turned it into the shelf brackets that hold the shelf that now holds our TV components. All with a little help from the other JB - Justin Bieber.

low hung living room TV. 16" from the floor
custom TV components shelving
teak members planed using a table saw
glued and screwed teak shelf brackets
painted. a dowel was cut down and joined for a 16" spacing
counter-sinking for lagbolts with a paddle bit

    WOW! Saw that stack of wood and couldn't even believe it was a chair. You did a marvelous re-purposing!
