Autumn Thanksgiving Pallet

To add a touch of fall to my home, I created an autumn-themed pallet sign for my home's fireplace mantel for some seasonal color!
To start out my project, I picked up an inexpensive wooden pallet from my local craft store.(I got the pallet on discount with the weekly coupon!) I also got some chalk paint, a bird stencil, two wooden accents and some fabric autumn leaves. I begun by stenciling my pallet.
Stenciling my pallet was a real quick job and didn't require much paint. I love the happy yellow color of the paint I used!
After my stencil was complete, all I had to do was glue on the other decorative elements with my glue gun and some hot glue.
I love how this DIY pallet art came out! I'll be sad to take it down when winter comes. I might have to make a DIY winter art pallet! I am sharing my pallet and tutorial on my blog, Mom Home Guide -- stop by! The project is part of the blog's Holiday Craftacular, where several bloggers will be sharing their Thanksgiving projects -- you can link up your Thanksgiving project, too! My blogging friends and I host a Holiday Craftacular Blog Hop and Linky Party every month!

This turned out so nice! With all this inspiration floating around, I might just have to try and make one myself! Where did you purchase your pallet?
