My Top Five Cottage Junk Garden Containers
I love to come up with some creative planters for annuals every year. I usually come up with a few. But, I plant a lot of container annuals for my deck, patio and also sink containers in here and there in my flower beds. These are my top five picks:
Pails and buckets. Mop buckets, minnow pails and inserts, hanging pails for trailing plants.
Funnels. A new favorite of mine.
Terra cotta pots. I love the weathered patina of a terra cotta pot.
Vintage metal kitchenware. Just don't overdo it.
Galvanized laundry tubs. Big, small, square, and round. Pails, just bigger!

I'm with you sister. My philosophy is, if I can keep soil in something and get adequate drainage, then I'll put a plant in it. Here are a few pics.
