Dollar Store Christmas Gift Bag Wall Art

Ever have one of those "aha" moments? WelI I sure did while walking though my local Dollar Store a few weeks ago. I came across some Christmas gift bags that caught my eye. So of course I had to bring them home.
Initially I thought I would use them as, well, gift bags. But I thought the "art" on them was worthy of hanging. So I decided to use them for a somewhat more unorthodox use.
I had transformed this ugly brown thrift store frame with white paint a few years back, and I knew it would be perfect for displaying these two bags together.
I loved the colors and patterns on this Merry Christmas wreath.
And the same goes for this one. They both looked almost three dimensional, although the photos don't really convey that. I thought they complimented each other very well.
Here she is in all her glory, a transformed frame with some pretty trendy Christmas wall art. Easy and inexpensive. Now that's my kind of DIY Christmas decor.
Stop by the blog for more details on this, along with some of my other DIY thrift store Christmas creations. Can't wait to see you there!

Awesome! So festive and professional looking! Did you make the bows? They add the perfect, not homemade touch!

So cute! And where did you find your deer heads?
