Our Cottage face-lift.

When we purchased our little stone cottage there were lot's of things we loved.
However we knew it needed more color and the garage doors just didn't fit.
My husband is a building construction teacher at our local high school. Come see what he came up with for our garage doors and the other improvements we added as well.
All on our little bitty budget.
A lot of folks have asked and yes we do use our garage door openers.
Hubby was able to adjust for the added weight and he did upgrade a few parts.
One door complete and the other side is half way there.
Garage doors done...my favorite time of year.
One door in the process of being redone.
One door complete. They still open and close the same way. Hubby even made wood to look like wrought iron.
The before: Brown, boring and drab. And not fitting with our cottage style home.
The after: We are pleased as punch, and love the new look! Hubby spent 80 hours and total cost was about $200.
