Book-A-Day Advent Calendar

I wanted to do a book-a-day in December for my son, but I wanted to present it in a unique way. Then it occurred to me - what better place for books than a bookshelf! For a holiday spin, I propped the books on the shelf so they would mimic the look of a Christmas tree.
I wrapped up 24 holiday-themed books in three different colors of wrapping paper. Then, I affixed gift tags with the numbers 1-24 written on them.
A little yarn and beaded garland to decorate my "tree" and I was done!
This is a really fun way to present gifts in the style of an Advent Calendar, and a toddler can never have too many books!
I can't wait to watch him enjoy opening these the entire month of December!
