Bring nature indoors with these homemade Pinecone Flower Napkin Rings. Add to your tablescape and your guests are sure to take notice!
This is a perfect DIY for the "budget friendly" crafter! Great idea for not only the Holiday's, but would be great for a Wedding, Baby Showers, Special Event, but ....Great Gifts, too!!!

Materials:

Pinecones

Hot Glue & Glue Sticks

Ribbon

Twine

Optional: Paint and Embellishments
Gather up Pinecones! You may have some on your property or where you like to hike. Our linked website has a full tutorial on how we cut our pinecones. Please visit for the easy step-by-step intructions.
Once you have cut all your pinecones, washed and dried, you will want to paint them now or leave in their natural color.

Using sticks that you can find on the ground during your walks or from your own yard, Hot glue into an opening of the pinecone.

*You can also recycle the large branches from silk flowers (if you have old silk flowers that you don't use anymore) and use them instead (this is what I used).*
Tie a piece of twine around the stem. This will be used as your "tie back".
Embellish your Pinecone Flowers. Add rhinestones, glitter, and other ideas:

Wedding = Put their initials in center, or a heart

Baby Shower = Glue on "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl" signs, or add cute little baby embellishments that you can buy at a $store or crafting supply store.
Add a pretty ribbon to dazzle it up! Tie to your napkins and Enjoy!!
Here are a few examples of some colors and styles I have done. Happy Crafting!

I can't find the website that tells me how to cut the pinecones. This is such a cute idea and I have the pinecones ready for use. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
