Man, I've been taking my tiny scissors & sraping up into the gun between plastic & metal to get the black gook off, then scraping tip w/ 1 scissor blade. I literally have no feeling in fingertips from holding glued object in place... Ouch ! My legs look like I have big white freckles cuz I wear shorts when I work & when the glue drops on my skin I have to grin & bear it till the pain & heat is gone, then have to peel it off the skin. Any tips on this( besides wear pants ?)

Over the years, I've had to eventually replace glue guns. I've never seen one like yours? The narrower tip is such a great idea. Where did you find that one? A hardware store?
