I was ready to toss some Avon Magazines and Ikea ones (Ikea are awesome to work with), instead, I put on some Christmas movies and started folding.
Fold magazines by pulling corner to binding.
Unfortunately, I only had two Ikea and three Avon, so the trees are only one sided.
Once folded, you can spray or leave alone.
I LOVE this Valspar paint from Lowes. The other kind I had was horrible. They didnt have any gold in stock...I can see why. The silver is beautiful.
Sprayed in silver and gold.
Ok ok....now that I look at them, they look like oriental hats. So you can add another fold to them. One thing I did was fold it up when it was still damp to bring into the house....all the pages had to be pulled apart ðŸ˜
I added my lighted blocks to the other side of the fireplace.

I also spray painted some pinecones to add some outdoor feel.
