Home For Christmas Home Tour on Reinvented

Welcome to our Reinvented home! The first part of my holiday decorating this year focused on creating a holiday hang out space for our teenagers and young adults out of a former bedroom; and a serene yet festive space for mom to unwind at the end of a busy day.
When my son, child left for college this fall, we re-arranged the bedrooms and converted our bonus room above the garage in to a second family room. I want this room to be comfortable for my kids, ages 13-21, and their friends to hang out this season and all year long.
I started with a game/snack table nook with a fun chalkboard art gallery wall.
The sectional couch, also pictured above, was dressed up with holiday pillows and a cozy throw.
A small tree adds holiday cheer, next to the TV. The TV stand is a vintage high school science desk that we repurposed just for this spot. My kids are excited to host their own gatherings in this space.
While the kids party, I'll be here. :) Our master bedroom is decked out in some fresh greens and a little touch of gold to create a relaxing space to unwind.
There are many more photos and details on my blog, Reinvented, so be sure to visit the full tour via the link below. Happy Holidays!
