This is a super simple and super fun Tutorial to do with Kids. I had fun working on it myself. You can make a basic Rudolph reindeer with brown antlers and a red nose or you can mix it up and make crazy colorful and fun reindeer.

Materials:

Candy Canes

Pipe Cleaners

Eyes (stickers or glue on)

Small Pom Poms

Glue
Twist the pipe cleaner around the hook part of the candy cane a few times to secure it in place.
Shape the antlers. Play around with different shapes or designs.
Place the eyes a little above the center of the candy cane on the short hook side.

I chose to use sticker eyes because they were super cute and fun.

Tip: Add a little glue to the sticker eyes and the googly eyes. The stickers will fall off after a little while if not glued in place.
dd glue to the tip of the hook.

I used a color changing glue to see the glue and know when it is fully dry. Kids love it.
Press the nose in place.
Your reindeer is ready to go. Choose fun colored candy canes, pipe cleaners, and pom poms.

Have the kids name their reindeer and design it to match the name. This is a great way to work fine motor skills, color naming, counting, and creativity all in one.
