DIY Stenciled Christmas Tree Ornaments
Here's a few examples of what you can do with scrapbook paper and stencils. First get some paper mache Christmas tree ornaments from a craft store or online like Amazon.
Then, trace the ornament shape on scrapbook paper. Cut it out. Glue it on the ornament. I like to use Aleene's Tacky Glue for this because paper is less likely to wrinkle than when using Mod Podge.
Then place a stencil on the ornament. Visit my blog post, link below, for tips on using stencils in this way. You likely won't find tiny stencils the size of ornaments, but that doesn't mean you can't use stencils! Like you see here, I used part of a huge stencil on this ornament. It made a pretty abstract pattern.
After you are finished stenciling, this is what you will get! Pretty!
You can add things like colored rhinestones to dress up the ornament even more.
Even my sister's Quaker parrot approved. She said "okay" and "hmmm-mmmm."
I did all these ornaments - and many more! - in an afternoon. Two sided too, so each side is different. This is super fast and easy!

This is also good for homes where you worry about breakable ornaments due to children or pets. Or in my case, your own clumsiness. I break glass like you wouldn't believe! These are beautiful and unbreakable ornaments.
