Washi Tape Storage

Still collecting washi tape? I know I am! It's just hard to say no to all those fun patterns and textures. This is how I store my favorite washi tapes so they are easy to access AND fun to look at!
I obviously have way more washi tapes than will fit in one little case, but my most favorite and most special reside here. Including my favorite holidays tapes!
I started with a simple wooden case from Hobby Lobby. It's a great way to protect your stash from dust and easy to pull off the craft shelf.
Use a Dremel with a router attachment to make little "shelves" inside the case for 1/2" dowels to rest on. They should be able to be easily pulled out and placed back in. This way you can can and remove rolls of washi tape easily.
Remove the metal teeth from an empty aluminum foil box and glue it to the inside front of the case. Now you can easily tear away the tape in the front row.

Isn't this handy? And everything inside stays perfectly in place when the case is moved around.

This is great. I have an old wine case that looks like this with a rope handle and locks. Now I know just what to use it for. Another Idea would to use it to hold jewelry/bracelets and stand it on it's side. I just thought of that one!
