Oftentimes the space under the stairs is used for storage. The creative designers at Case Design/Remodeling...

The homeowners challenged our creativity by asking for a home office, laundry room, pool dressing area, pantry (not shown), and powder room in one small space while maintaining an open feel but making sure they all felt like separate spaces. Our designers made sure the space was functional and provided ample countertop areas and storage.
Each area has its own identity but the coordinating and complementing elements of each space create one cohesive look. This is why we're so proud of this project.
The pool dressing area sits just inside the house adjacent to the laundry room. It provides the family with a place for pool guests to drop off their belongings before heading out to the pool, a place for towels to dry, and the piano hinged bench provides plenty of storage for pool related items so the room doesn't get cluttered.
Perpendicular to the under-stairs storage nook near the garage, we created (2) attractive lockers to keep the kids' stuff organized regardless of the season.
Oftentimes the space under the stairs is used for storage. The creative designers at Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. turned it into a cozy and cushioned "reading nook" where the homeowners could sneak away and relax. The space is also welcoming for the kids with a storage bench under the stairs for the kids to sit and put their shoes on. The kids also enjoy just hanging out in the nook and reading.

I love the coziness of the rooms and the storage ideas. Great design for the washer and dryer, very clean lines and the storage bench is great to finish that book you can't put down while you wait for the dryer to beep! I love the color scheme, very cheerful and inviting.

This makes me think that we need to do a little bit better in terms of cleaning up at home. We've got roughly the same kind of set up for laundry and storage in the basement at home except that there's paper and documents and unfolded clothes everywhere! Haha! Time for us to buck up I think!
