Finally...Spring Blooms!

Some of my spring bulbs started blooming this past weekend. Nothing like seeing colour in the garden again! But of course, today it snowed...

You should plant crocus in sun, but if the area is under deciduous trees, they will be fine since they bloom before the trees cast shade. Here's a link for you, they are pretty easy to grow. http://bit.ly/10pZKd6 You can Google crocus info if you need more help. Be careful digging up any plants on city/county property as there could be bylaws protecting the plant. Here in Ontario, for example, we are not allowed to dig up trilliums, they are our province's flower, and are protected. Thanks for following along. :)

Nice to see spring is here. Not in my garden yet but the tulips and the narcissuses are starting to come up. I haven't seen the crocuses yet. It still snowed today. :0( One more day... and sun. :0)
