Choosing the right style and material is very important, and I agree that it's important to consider your lifestyle when making a decision. This is going to sound very old school, but I've had a variety ofcounter tops, laminate, tile, granite, etc. But I always loved my mother's Formica. Weird, huh. When I moved into my retirement tiny house both the kitchen counter in the bathroom counter where is a marble like formica top. I was ecstatic!It's in great shape and looks a little retro . Got a better price on the house because they thought I wanted to go upgrade.
