It's that time of year....we are getting ready for the annual Memorial Day party we throw for all our family and friends. We try to change things up each year and add more, update lights, change locations on our property a bit, etc.
This year we are tying in as much from last year as possible with the new items I'm crafting up with my girl friends. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.
Cheap streamers from the dollar store mixed with some of my infinite mini light collection creates an eye catching accent when guest enter my entertaining area.
We are up changing out our previous incandescent lights to newer LED patio lights. We got the strings and lights from Christmas Lights Etc and saved a ton of money vs our retail locations. Which is helpful since we provide so much food
From last years bash - we used the cheap streamers again to create colorful tables. Budget saver!
Next year we plan on putting in a pool - this is the one that catches my husbands eye! I'm not quite sure what we'll do here yet for the party once it's in, but I'm sure you'll see next year!
We have about twenty or so tables set up on the property for our party and have a few with accents from my garden such as fresh flowers and my decorative birdhouses.
Just a reminder why we really are gathering, besides the endless buffet of food and drinks! All crafty ideas from things we already own, no extra cash out of pocket.
The bar....I'm thinking red white and blue patio lights or icicle lights from Christmas Lights Etc (my mini light life savers) and maybe colorful flowers lining the bar.
I have tons of planters all over the property and grabbing the patriotic ones won't take long. I plan to scatter them out along the entertainment area and again, no extra money spent!
