Staining Concrete and Patio Tour

We built our house in 2009 and have wanted to do something with the cement floor in the patio since then. I went back and forth trying to decide whether to install tile or to get the concrete stained. We finally made the decision to stain and we love it. We hired Keefe Duhon of Concrete Revolution. He is located in South Louisiana but has worked all over the United States. He does residential and commercial work. Here are some of the before and after pictures.
This is looking at the patio in one direction before.
This is the opposite direction.
Here is Keefe doing his thing.
I love this texture overlay.
He used gray and blond stains blended. This is right after he finished.
This is the two days later. It came out beautiful!
Our furniture and accessories go perfect with the stain.

It adds warmth to our patio.
It made the patio feel like an extension of our family room.
Now it's time to relax and enjoy it!

Very pretty patio! I do however think you could warm it up a bit more if you put a patio rug under your coffee table and dining table in maybe a nice rust color to bring out the brick colors of your fireplace and tie it into your pretty design. Your so lucky to have an enclosed patio that you can entertain in no matter what the weather. I would like to ask if your grill doesn't fill your pretty room in smoke when your using it? Or do your glass panels open up when you need them to?

Was this acid stain or water based stain? It’s beautiful!!!

Exactly what product/kit did you use? I can’t find the exact name of the colors used in stain.

Yes i have done the first steps just a bit uncertain about the stain and the blending as i don't have a spray can.

I wonder if you could use sponges for the blending of several colors, like people used to sponge paint walls. I love the soft, smoky, texture look.
