Here is a unique project thats great for a kids room. A wreath made out of crayons!
We recommend watching the video first and foremost, and then reading the steps below to get a good feeling for how to create this project.
To create this project, you will need: 146 Crayons, a hot glue gun, (1) 10" cake round, (1) 6" cake round, an old CD, a pipe cleaner, and a paper punch
Using your paper punch, punch a hole in the 10 inch cake round about a 1/2" form the outer edge of the cake round.
Feed your pipe cleaner through the hole you just punched. And twist it both above and below the hole. This loop will be used to hang the wreath on the wall.
Glue your 6" Cake round in the center of the 10" cake round.
Start by gluing a crayon at each of the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions on the cake round. But the flat end of the crayon up to the inside round to ensure even spacing. Now fill in between the first four you glued down, gluing each one at a slight angle. Once you filled them in and if there is a slight gap that you can't quite fit a crayon into, try trimming the crayon with a pair of scissors to fit it.
Start adding the second row, by placing them in between the first row. Try pulling the back of the crayon back about 3/8" to 1/2" back to stagger them. Go all the way around.
For the third layer, we recommend you pull them back the same distance as you did the second row.
Now glue the CD in the center of the wreath, on top of the third row that you just completed.
Now do a row on top of the CD with the pointy ends facing inward, and finally another with the pointy ends out.
Wedge pointed ends inward in between the last row.
Lastly, cut a crayon down and glue it in the center with the pointed end facing outward.
Finished! By now you've gone through a lot of glue and a lot of crayons, but in the end you have a cheerful colorful wreath. Thank you for stopping by!

I LOVE ❤️ The Crayon Wreath! So Colorful and Eye Cathing !! Is there a Weath or something compatible where the crayons can be removed and then replaced? A PERFECT Idea when my grandchildren come over! They love coloring but putting them all back into the box is boring, any ideas where the kids can remove the crayons and then replace them onto the weath? Perhaps with small clips glued on the weath? What a GR8T idea!!

Can it be sealed so they don’t melt?
