Planting Cilantro - Creating an Indoor Kitchen Garden

Even though it's winter and my outdoor garden has gone to sleep, I am still craving some fresh garden flavors, so I'm attempting to tackle an indoor garden. Historically I'm not always the best at remembering to water my indoor plants, but I'm giving it another try with this indoor kitchen garden.

This first plant I'm tackling is cilantro. I've heard mixed feedback on the success of growing cilantro indoors. I'm hoping I'll have good luck because I love the flavor it brings to Indian, Mexican and Thai dishes - some of my favorites!

I've gotten good at planting plants and it comes down to 3 simple steps - drainage, good soil, and staying on top of watering.

Please hop over to the blog for complete details and lots of other fun projects. Happy Celebrating!
