DIY Log Holder

by Homeroad
A Saturday afternoon project... we created a convenient place to store the split logs for our wood burner and fire pit. The logs are kept off the ground and will be ready for the action. We used simple tools and pressure treated wood to create this much needed organizer for our yard.
Pressure treated 4x4's cut at the store
A good base that won't hold water
These logs are ready for the wood burner or the fire pit!

Even better, Drill holes and use lag bolts instead of nails and it will be a lot stronger and last longer....

Very interesting. A crazy squirrel chewed up two of my lawn swings seat cushions. The second time I didn't trash the metal frame; used it to store my firewood. Since the canopy top rotted, just use a tarp to keep the wood dry. Works for me.
