Here is a cute valentine's day decoration idea. It's a very easy recycled project. Don't hesitate to get your kids involved, they will have fun making it! You will need plastic bottles, a sharpie, some thread and small dowels.

Grab some clean plastic bottles, any size, and cut them in "slices" to have plastic rings.

Decorate the rings with permanent marker, I made flowers, hearts, lines, or write what you want .... Just use your imagination and have fun!

Pinch the plastic ring twice, once through the inside of the ring and once through the outside (see photo) to form a heart! Repeat to make as many hearts as you want.

Pass a thread with a needle through the heart to hang them together, end with a node. Make a cross with two dowels and hang each heart garland to it. You may need to slide the garlands on the dowels to find the balance.

And that's it! You have a cute Valentine's day decor! You can have a look on my blog for more pictures and other great recycling ideas! If you want to complete your valentine's day decor, you can grab a free heart printable on my page.

What type of pen did you use? Sharpies seem to stay wet!
