DIY Gold Geometric Spray Painted Mugs

One Broads Journey
by One Broads Journey
When I first joined Pinterest, one of the first DIYs I fell in love with was this gorgeous gold geo mug I saw. I knew I wanted to make my own and I FINALLY got around to doing so. I'm moving soon and I wanted something modern and chic to add to my new kitchen without spending a ton. I started collecting inexpensive white mugs whenever I saw them and dove into these super quick and easy DIY Gold Geometric Spray Painted Mugs.
Collect 4 white mugs, painters tape, and gold spray paint.
Using painters tape, create geometric sections on your mug and spray with gold spray paint. Be sure to cover the inside so it does not get spray painted.
Peel off the tape and enjoy your beautiful new mug!

There is food safe paint you can use instead of spray paint, I believe. I don't think this paint should be anywhere near where you drink because of the chemicals in the paint. If painted and sealed on the lower areas of the mug, though, there should be no problem. Pretty!
