From Junk to a Jewel!
Our friend Jan found this dresser at a rummage sale for $5.00!! She said, "I knew you girls could do something with this.". We drooled at first sight when we saw all that detail.
We stared at it for a couple of days and then decided to do a total overhaul!
Sadly, the drawers were too far gone so we gutted it. Now, we brought in Big Brian to help us put in shelves. Thankfully, he loves us, so he went and got his tools.
With the first shelf in, we could start to see our "vision" come to light!
Shelves in! Now it's time for the fun part!
We painted this a bright white. Then we dark waxed it and added a fabric back.
The dark wax really brings out the detail.
Ooh La La! We absolutely love how it turned out. This was one of our most favorite makeovers!
