Turn a WalkIn Closet Into a Timeless Master Bathroom #BathroomBeautify

We bought a 1950's Conch house in Key West, FL and what started as an awkwardly appointed, completely dated and non-functional space turned into the master bathroom of our dreams.
Mid process, after removing the paneling to expose original Dade County Pine board walls.
Every detail in the bathroom was DIYed including a custom shower pan, marble tile floor and shower surround and all of the finishing details like this handle for the rain shower.
Rustic details add character to the space and blend well with the refinished wood slat walls that were distressed a bit after a white washing of paint.
This DIY vanity and the reclaimed wood mirror frames ended up the star attractions in this full space overhaul. Find all of the detailed posts and tutorials here, http://thespacebetweenblog.net/key-west-projects-tips-and-tricks/
A storm door rescued from my neighbors and hung on barn door hardware adds the perfect finishing touch. Click through to the original blog post to see more DIY bathroom details!
