Yellow Coffee Filter Blossom Wreath

Whether you have springlike weather in your neighborhood, or are just dreaming of it, this simple project will brighten up your front door in just an afternoon.
Start with coffee filters and separate out some stacks of them.
Dip the ends into watered down paint (or dye or food coloring)
Flip them over to dry. (I like to put them in a Pyrex measuring cup and blast them with my hair dyer to speed up this process. The measuring cup holds them in place, more or less so they don't blow everywhere.)
Then, working with a few at a time, fold in half and cut into flower shapes.
Cut a ring out of some spare cardboard, pinch the center of the flower and secure to the cardboard with hot glue. Continue until the wreath is complete.

What color would you make yours?

I made one for the 4th of July too--http://www.craftingintherain.com/2012/06/dyed-coffee-filter-wreath-for-4th.html
