Budget Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel

2 Months
Advanced
Our farmhouse kitchen was stuck in the 70's! We made it look like a true farmhouse kitchen, on a very limited budget! See many more details at Knick of Time.
Kitchen After
Kitchen Before
Our only real splurge in the remodel, was replacing the small window above the sink, with 2 large windows, which opens up the view of the outdoors, and floods the room with light.

We used flea market finds throughout the kitchen, like this milk can strainer lid repurposed into a light,, to add farmhouse charm for very little expense.

An antique window was installed above a counter,as a room divider between the kitchen and living room. It allows the light from the kitchen to brighten up the dark living room, and opens up the view between the 2 rooms.

An heirloom family stove is used as a coffee station, and holds a crock pot inside

Skillets and pantry staples are functional wall decor.

Embossed ceiling tiles and recessed lights hide the damage left when the old cabinets were removed.

An antique potato bin was repurposed into a trash can.
