Stunning Magnolia in Bloom

We bought this house in part because of the beautiful magnolia tree in the front yard. Last year due to some weird weather, the blooms froze on the tree before opening. But this year we've been blessed with a cool spring that has produced a magnificent show....
Our little Tudor house looks even prettier with the magnolia in bloom
Huge 5" flowers are produced on this saucer magnolia - different than your southern magnolia.
The profusion of blooms this year is spectacular
Deep pink flower buds which open to a pale pink.
Magnificent against a blue sky
Another beautiful bloom

Heather are you in Elora, It looks exactly like a house with the Magnolia in front here. Either way it is gorgeous, and I am so jealous :) wish I had one in my yard.
  • Hi Valerie Scott = no, we're in Tillsonburg which is just south of Woodstock about 20 km. Wish I could take credit for the beauty of the house and the magnolia but they were both this gorgeous when we moved here 2 years ago.
