Easter Egg Spring Sign

thinking Spring with a quick DIY decor project for the mantle (or you could make it for a door).
An as I start to get my mantle together. I wanted something that was Spring and Easter oriented so I wouldn't have to take it down right after the holiday.
I had this old frame with butlap stings I had found months ago on clearance at Home Goods. It came distressed and I have use it for other projects as well but today it was sitting lonely.
The only thing I purchased for this project were these decorative eggs which were (of course) on sale at Michael's for about $3.
I had these picture hanging screws leftover from a mounting set I've had awhile. I opened them just enough with pliers that I could hang them over the butlap string.
With my favorite tool - my hands - I screwed these hangers into the top of each egg.
I strung them up and wrote "sunny side up" with a white chalk pen because who isn't celebrating sun where I live (Connecticut) right now! Since it's a chalk pen I can change the writing since I was undecided what I wanted it to say.

I may put a touch of hot glue between the eggs to keep them facing forward but for now I'm happy with this project since I completed it (and made Whole30) meatballs while both my kids napped.

Is it worth posting to my blog?? I've been slow to post as we redo our kitchen.
