Make a Collapsible Play Tent for the Kids

$10

Easy
All kids love a magical place where they can play and let their imaginations run wild. We made this simple A-frame tent using electrical conduit and brightly colored bandanas.
All you need are some bandanas, PVC conduit pipe, PVC connectors, spray paint and ribbon or string
To make the frame use a hack saw to cut the conduit pipe into four pieces for the sides of the tent and another longer piece for the top
Use the PVC connectors to join all the PVC pipes together to create the frame of the tent.

For the tent cover, sew the bandanas together to form a big square. I Used 16 banadas in total icon
All that’s left to do is tie the tent cover to the PVC pipe frame using some ribbons and the kids can start playing.
Only our fur kids were home when I took the photos, but they love, love, love the tent. Now I can't wait for the human kids to come home and play.

P.S. You can find the full tutorial and a list of supplied on the blog. Come say hi if you get a chance icon

I love this bandana tent. There was a time several years ago that I went to a lot of country western singers concerts and always bought a bandana when available. I made a king size quilt out of them by also using regular bandanas among the stars bandanas. I had them from Alabama, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Reba McIntyre, and so many others. I am sure your kids love their tent.

Your quilt sounds so beautiful Linda. Do you have a photo you could share, I would love to see it. I can just imagine all those lovely colors and patterns combined together.
