Plant Labels - Part 2

I recently asked for ideas about making attractive plant labels http://www.hometalk.com/activity/143625 and I got several ideas. I liked to look of the "bottle on a stick"...but I don't have any small bottles. I also liked the "cork on a wire" idea...but I'm no good at lettering.
Visiting the tile section of my local big box store, I found a large assortment of glass tiles...the perfect size for plant labels. I had some very stiff wire (the kind used to hang suspended ceilings), the end of which I bent into a loop. I glued a loop to the back of each tile using silicone adhesive.
After letting it set for 48 hours, I used my P-Touch label maker to make self-adhesive labels to affix to the front of the tiles.
I like the look!
my new cardoon has a name!
sheets of glass tiles are not very expensive
I bent the loop using pliers
I also bent the wire slightly so the front of the tile faced up a little
a cute miniature lamb's ear plant
