In my quest for better health and pinching pennies, I purchased one of the automatic soap dispensers before looking into the price of refills. My clever DH found a solution: After the soap was gone, he drilled a hole in the top of the soap container so it can be easily refilled. I recommend using generic since I found the name brand soaps would thicken up and clog the dispenser.
Do you have one of these?
The hole is just large enough.

I popped off the plastic on mine with a screw driver and refilled it
