    Iris are among my favorite plants. I love these pictures, they remind me that I want to get some growing again. We dug up a bunch with the intention of dividing and replanting but life happened and they rotted and died. :-( thanks for sharing.

    Wow, what beauties! I planted about 2 dozen this year in the start of my new iris garden. I hope mine do as well. Any secrets? In the past I've had trouble getting them to bloom. The plants do well but no flowers. I think they were planted too deep and I've avoided that this time so we shall see. Do they bloom the next spring after planting? Thanks again for sharing those photos. I'd be in heaven with those in my yard.

      @Alisa W Not only do they come back they multiply. You have to split the bunches every 3-5 years. I look at it as a way to get free plants! I didn't get to mine last fall so I'll have to do it this fall.
