Geometric Nightstand

This nightstand needed a modern design to add some interest to its simple lines. Everything except the drawer got painted black and sealed with polyurethane. On the drawer I used white, bright blue, black and left parts of the natural walnut to create a triangle geometric design. It just took some patience and some Frog Tape.
Finished nightstand with the geometric drawer.
The nightstand before any paint.
Use Frog Tape, and then one coat of poly before painting to get crisp lines on the drawer.
The drawer adds so much interest to the piece.

This is really special.Your work ( I was looking at your blog) is top class. What kind of paint do you have to use to paint on wood like this? Do you have to use a primer aswel?
