DIY Baseball Bookends

Does spring make you think of baseball? In celebration of spring and baseball season, I made a set of baseball bookends. This is a DIY project that anyone with basic woodworking skills can complete.
I had fun getting out vintage books and my vintage baseball gloves to stage this picture. The gloves are 1950's and were my dad's.
To made these you'll need two t-posts, a 3/8" dowell, 6 baseballs, and strong glue.
I used a drill press to drill holes in the balls and then joined the balls together with 1 1/2" dowel rod pieces. (Step-by-step directions can be found on my blog post.
Please visit my blog to get the step-by-step tutorial for this project.
