May Boxes Across Our Huge Front Porch Makes Me Happy!

Finally made flower boxes for the front porch and I didn't realize how happy they make me! I'm spend all day out on the porch, eating, napping, working on the laptop, talking on the phone. Love the curtained off feeling the flower boxes give. Best room in the house! More photos on the website.
We made and planter 6 flower boxes across our front porch.
One box done, 5 more to go!
We hung them so the elk can't reach them.
Looking out into the yard.
Close up of the #maygarden on the front porch.
Stacks of cedar.

  • @Jane L To be honest we left the plants in the original containers. No dirt and no holes because the water runs out through the cracks in the wood. Bonus, the water drips down on the plants below. Leaving the plants in the containers makes it easy to switch around or switch out any that die:( I make the boxes to fit one gallon plants so the tops don't show.

Beautiful, and an amazing porch with an amazing view! I can see why you "live" out there as much as you do!
