A Thriftastic Easter Basket

$2
Easy
It's easy to take a blah basket from the thrift store and transform it into a pretty, whimsical Easter Basket centerpiece!
Thanks for checking out the full tutorial here- Happy Easter!
Thrift stores are littered with inexpensive baskets on the super cheap- there are ALWAYS tons of options. So, when I saw this open-weave fella, I decided to give him an Easter-y makeover!
To "seal out" its previous life, I first painted it white.
Then, using pretty pastel ribbon, I wove in and out around the bottom.
But I wasn't done yet- more colors were needed!
How pretty is that? And so simple to do- literally anyone, including a child, can do this, I promise!
And now I have a darling centerpiece for my Easter brunch table- and it cost next to nothing to make!
