Jackson Pollock Inspired Pillows

Easy
After a trip to New York, I came back with the idea to add some Jackson Pollock to my own house. I had a few khaki pillows from Target that seemed like the perfect place to add that element. We removed the stuffing and splattered our pillows with white, black, gray and blue in the driveway. These are all the colors from August Rhythm. After they dried, we re-inserted the stuffing.

This was almost too easy.
My inspiration, Jackson Pollock's August Rhythm
I used paints that I already had in the garage. Black, white primer, pale blue and gray.
We simply splattered the pillow cases over a drop cloth.
I tried to dribble in spots to look as random as possible.
The finished pillow cases drying in the sun.
The best part of the bed. The new paint splattered pillows on the bed
