My most favorite dogwood ever! I live in northern California east of stockton in the foothills and it gets too hot I think here in the summer. They do grow up from us in the area of Big Tree State park. My favorite time of year is when dogwoods bloom there! Can they be grown in containers ? I have always wanted to try it but not sure about these trees! They get so big but can you keep them small enough? We will be moving into the area next couple of years and then I can plant it in my own yard.
