I'm an avid thrifter. I go out about 3 times a week in search of the gem among the rubble. I've been looking for a dresser for a while now and on my 3rd jaunt to one of my favorite Thrift Stores last week I found this antique dresser, all wood, and dovetailed. The only flaws were the "dents" the employee said. If he only new......The roughness of the piece adds character. I took it home got immediate color inspiration from a flowered water color like print from a new throw pillow. I decided on doing two tones on the dresser and am thrilled how it all turned out.
Materials Used...
1. Miniwax Water-Based Wood Stain in Green Tea
2. Pantone Paint in the color Nude with a Satin finish
