DIY Tree Branch Coat Hooks

1 Hour
Easy
Do you have a space in your house that seems to get overlooked and overstuffed?
I have a small coat closet that is under our stairs. For several months I stuffed baby clothes in this closet (out of convenience), finally it got to the point where it was embarrassing and I HAD to do something with all the clothes.
So, not only did I give away all the baby clothes but I went ahead and gave the Coat Closet a Makeover (in hopes that it’ll inspire me to keep this space tidy).
Yes, I decorated the inside of a closet.
I’d love to share with you how I made the DIY Tree Branch Coat Hooks!
This project was very easy, inexpensive, and didn’t take long (now that’s my kinda project)!

I started by searching my garage for a small board, then went to the back yard for some small tree branches.
I painted the board to match one of the colors in my coat closet.

We used our chop saw to cut the tree branches to the correct length (I say “we” because my husband did help with this part).

Next we used some very small finish nails to nail the branches (sticks) onto the board.
I’M LOVING THIS! It’s the perfect finish to a mountain-esque closet makeover.

Did you hand paint the verse onto the wall or where did you find it?
